Today Kirk Weisler spoke to us on Team Dynamics. I learned a lot from him and actually was entertained the entire class by what he had to say. I learned that I am a student of life- and I should always be looking for ways to become a better leader. The best lesson I took out of this presentation is that I need to be real and genuine. I love to be myself because I am a really happy person and love to smile and I think that makes other people happy too. It was great to hear from Mr. Weisler that I could be successful by doing this. If I have geniune intent, then I have greatness because people will almost always forgive me. I was also excited to hear that a key to leadership is connecting to people through stories. I seem to have many things in common with most people and I love to tell stories. I hope this helps me become an effective leader later on in my life. It made me breathe a sigh of relief when he said we should always ask ourselves, "What am I going to be when I grow up?" I never thought of it as a life mission and something we should always strive for and keep working on, not just stop when we get there! Since I have so much energy and enthusiasm, I feel that I can succeed in anything I try to do. 55% of communication is body language and kirk Weisler taught me that we "cannot not communicate!" I know it's easy to lose focus with so many things going on, but I hope that someday, with a little hard work and dedication, I can become everything I want to be!

You're darn tooting right on this! People can sense a phony a mile away, and being genuine brings out the best in others. Being happy truly does infuse others' with your mood and is a gift to them from you.
Way to go.
